This course is completed entirely remotely meaning you can complete it at your own pace at a time and location which suits you best. It is possible to complete this course within a few days, however, most people take longer than this – however, it all depends upon you! Regardless of which option you choose, you are not left on your own. Our work packs have been designed and tested extensively by Mark who is a senior leader across a multi-academy Trust, an STA ‘train the tutor’ and RLSS Trainer Assessor. Email advice is also available as and when needed.

All course manuals and work will be sent to you and, if you choose the option for support with Zoom, then you will have up to eight 1:1 sessions with Mark during the course so as to offer support, guidance and be that critical friend on your AET journey.

This course also includes having to tutor a 15min micro teach on a subject of your choice. We will work with you to arrange this, again, all via Zoom! The skills you learn during the course you will put into practice for this final presentation.

The Award in Education and Training qualification is the first qualification you undertake on your road to teaching more formalised qualifications. It is the pre-requisite for roles such as the STA Tutor course and RLSS first aid trainer assessors.
